Fungal Bloom

In Fungal Bloom, you take on the role of a sentient colony of fungi with a mission to spread your spores and dominate an ecosystem. The game is a solo card-driven strategy game where you must strategically decide how to spread your fungal bloom while contending with the natural defenses of plants, animals, and environmental conditions. The game revolves around the concept of decay, as your fungus thrives on decomposing organic matter.

Objective: The primary objective is to infect and decay a certain percentage of the ecosystem within the fewest turns possible.  Go for the lowest number of rounds on the Leaderboard.  You must carefully balance the spread of your spores, manage your resources, and adapt to the ever-changing environment.

Mechanics: Purchase new Fungi with resources, placing them on an empty tile.  Different Fungi Types thrive better on different tiles and have different abilities.  Different tiles generate different resources depending on whether they're fully decayed or not.  As long as the source tile isn't fully decayed, Fungi may spread for free each turn.  Natural Enemies and Events will affect your progress.
